The vaccine advisory committee for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is expected to meet on Thursday to review reformulated vaccine boosters that aim at the BA.4 and BA.5 coronavirus omicron subvariants dominant in the United States.He’s expected to highlight his administration’s achievements and argue that the country’s democratic values will be at stake during the midterm elections.
The president will speak to the country from the Independence National Historical Park in Philadelphia. Biden’s remarks are scheduled for 8 p.m.
